Pre-procurement and Procurement Phase
During the pre-procurement and procurement phase, Sperovia assists our clients by analyzing and developing procurement strategies, to establish the suitable procurement model, taking into account the risks and benefits of each model. This also includes interface analysis and design, for example in projects with a combination of PDB, CMAR, and other components.
We also assist our clients in creation of Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Request for Proposal (RFP) documents in collaboration with legal teams, ensuring that risk transfer regimes are established in a fair and reasonable manner, and in line with current market precedent, across various areas such as utilities, contamination, escalation, geotechnical, limits of liability, gain-share/pain-share models for Target Price contracts, etc. Sperovia also supports the development of robust evaluation and selection criteria for RFQs and RFPs, and management of Commercially Confidential Meetings (CCM) and Request for Information (RFI) processes during procurement. We can also assist our clients in RFQ and RFP evaluation process as evaluators.
Pre-construction Phase
In progressive contracts that include a pre-construction (development) phase, Sperovia can provide experienced and qualified resources to assist our clients in management of the pre-construction phase from a commercial standpoint. This includes establishing clear goals and objectives for the pre-construction phase, and an effective and efficient governance model with appropriate stage-gates and checks and balances to ensure convergence of the pre-construction phase towards its intended goals. In addition, we can assist our clients in risk management of the pre-construction phase to mitigate risks to the extent possible and manage the risks that do materialize effectively.
The CEO of Sperovia can also work as the lead for the pre-construction phase of major projects, representing the interests of our clients.
Construction Phase
During construction phase, Sperovia can assist our clients with contract administration, change management and dispute resolution by providing qualified resources and establishing the necessary processes to achieve this.
